At SoCal Pet Pros, our roots run deep in professional pet care. We’re a team of passionate animal lovers with years of hands-on experience in dog walking, pet sitting, and boarding. Every member of our staff is background-checked and trained, with a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and genuine love for animals.


Our mission is simple: to provide Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and Orange County pet parents with the highest level of personalized care and total peace of mind. We founded SoCal Pet Pros to meet a growing need for trustworthy, well-trained, and communicative pet care providers — people who treat your pets like family because to us, they are.

Meet The Team

Founded by Shad Kirvin and Jackie Amster, our company blends logistical know-how with heartfelt care—creating a pet-sitting service you can truly trust.


Shad Kirvin brings over two decades of experience in strategic account management and operational logistics, currently serving as a Strategic Account Manager in the construction industry. Shad’s business acumen, reliability, and behind-the-scenes coordination skills ensure SoCal Pet Pros runs with professional precision and consistent service.


Jackie Amster is a natural caregiver and organizer. A lecturer in Hospitality Management at Cal State Long Beach and she runs her own event planning company, POP Events (Perfectly Organized Parties). Her eye for detail, clear communication, and nurturing spirit make her a favorite among both clients and pets.
